The first cinematic celebration of the Wadden Sea, the largest intertidal wetlands in the world, one of the most extreme and unknown habitats remaining on the planet.

The Wadden sea follows the life of three families – the grey seals, peregrine falcons and shell ducks – over the course of the seasons. The cycle of life with all its excitement, challenges and pain unfolds in this mysterious, pristine and enchanting terrain – vast plains of sand and grass – continuously grappled over by the ocean and the land. Filmed over a period of 5 years by award winning director Ruben Smit.
